• Having (an) accountant(s) whose qualifications meet requirements as stated by the Director of Department of Business Development, handling company accountancy. In general providing accounting for a Limited Company which is registered under Thai law, the accountant(s) must hold a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent education. However, a Limited Company or Partnership whose registered capital value on the closing date of the previous accounting year is not over 5 million baht, with each of total assets and incomes not over 30 million baht, the minimum educational requirement is at least Diploma in accounting or equivalent and approval as a registered accountant by the Federation of Accounting Professions.
• Providing accounting report according to the standard of accountancy with the attachment of complete and correct supporting documents.
• Ensuring that the accounting has been done legally and accurately so it can obviously reflect the company’s performance, financial status or even any changes currently occurring to the financial statement.

The accounting records must be started immediately upon the day that the company has been legally registered according to the announcement of the Department of Business Development regarding type of accounting, note, description, accounting period and supporting documents for accounting report (Announcement year 2001)

Prepare a financial statement for audit and submit the statement within 30 days of the day of receiving the approval from the shareholders meeting (within 150 days from the end of accounting period).

Keeping the accounting records and all supporting documents for at least 5 years from the closing date of the accounting period at the office or a place used for manufacturing or storage. For a specific inspection which is approved by the Director and the Ministry, they may be an order to maintain all significant documents for accounting for more than 5 years.
